One of our three U10 teams, the U10 Red Team, started their Cup Competition today showing the hard work, resilience, and positive mindset that defines being a Colt!

βWhat a great start to the cup games today!
The team played without a sub so they had a lot of work and little rest ahead of them.
We were at a loss at halftime, heads were down and motivation was low. A good attitude and a positive mentality were very much needed in the second half.
Their performance improved with every quarter they played despite the constant physical and skillful challenge from the opposition.
Throughout the second half, the team equalised and scored their winning goal with only a few minutes left of the game.
With the support of their teammates, myself, and parents, they worked together as a team with strength and determination to turn the game around. This is where their resilience was key.
POTM: Toby – worked his socks off today and showed great sportsmanship towards his teammates by encouraging them, and believing in himself & others.
Shout out to Branden who has improved in training recently, in particular with scanning to see what is happening around the pitch, communicating with his teammates as well as having to think about what he is doing. Today I got the pleasure of seeing these skills play out in the match πβ
Outstanding efforts today Colts!! Well done ππ» ππΌ
