Mei-Li is a Year 10 Student at a local secondary school who came to us, for ten weeks as part of their Active Leaders programme. A seemingly shy young lady, she got stuck right into helping with the team and became a reliable part of delivering training sessions. Since then, Mei-Li has decided to stay on with the U12/13 Girls teams and carry on helping.
From speaking with her parents on the day, I think she’s got as much out of it as the girls get out of her involvement. Think she could be in a coaching kit before too long!
This is another great example of Colts giving opportunity to those who want to get involved with grassroots football. Mei-Li grasped that opportunity and kept hold of it, which is a huge credit to her.
