In our last away game of the season, we played a very good Seaford side that were undefeated in the league.
Colts had the best possible start, scoring in the second minute of the game. For the next 30 minutes, the girls defended brilliantly, stopping all of the opposition attacks without conceding even a shot on target against them. In the 29th minute, Colts were able to create another counter-attacking opportunity and score a great goal. Colts were able to defend well the rest of the half and ended the half 2-0 up
The girls battled in the second half to stay in control of the game and created some great opportunities which were only stopped by some very good goalkeeping from the opposition. Despite tiring in the second half and having no subs to bring on, the girls gave it their all for the rest of the game and managed to end the game with a 2-0 win.
I’m so proud of the girls today, they played brilliantly and put in an amazing amount of effort in what was an extremely difficult game!
