An all round awesome performance, is the only way I can describe our match. We played simple and effective football.
The break came in the first half from a corner. George delivered the ball like a bullet, which was finished with a superb header by Charlie.
Sovereign Saints (SS) had two extremely fast paced wingers, which we had to manage. Praise goes to Nathan M & T, Keir, Alfie, Ben and Callum, who all played very well to keep them at bay.
Miles was rarely challenged but when he was he gave SS no chance, several times getting to the ball first to deny SS.
Our captain Kieran took a bad fall on his knee and sadly had to retire from the match.
We had to make changes to compensate SS and several players played out of their normal positions. All did exceptionally well.
Second half saw Jack M put a flick on into the net to give us 2 goals. Later in the second half Nathan T made a burst from the back and with a team effort he scored to put us 3-0 up.
All the team played fantastic football and throughly deserved the win.
Jack S, was superb in defence and was selected as Player Of The Match
Well played team.
