Maidenbower Colts Yellows U9 team competed at the Redhill FC Tournament in the beautiful spring sunshine today.
They managed to top their group without conceding a goal putting them into the semi finals to face another tough opposition.
They battled brilliantly in their Semi Final to come out victorious and to set up a final vs a very strong opposition who were also unbeaten.
Despite conceding for the 1st time all tournament it only galvanised the team into another gear, an incredible 25 yard lob made it level and Colts then sensed they could be victorious and moments later struck again with a brilliant strike high into the goalkeepers right hand corner! Colts then held out valiently to bring the trophy home.
