Thank You

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Thank you for registering your child with Maidenbower Colts Football Club.

You will shortly receive an email from us containing important club information. If you haven’t received this within 10 minutes, please check your spam or junk folder.

You will also receive an email from GoCardless, confirming your registration fee payment.

In the coming weeks, the club will assign you to a direct debit schedule for the following season. The first payment will be in September 2025 on the date you advise on the registration form. We will take into account any discounts that may be applicable when setting this up for you.

Any questions, please contact us.

You can view this season’s subscription schedule here.

We are honoured that you have chosen Maidenbower Colts for your child to enjoy and develop their football. Our ethos is centred on nurturing players in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. If your child is new to football, we focus heavily on developing technical skills and fostering a love for the game. We do not prioritise winning at all costs. If you’re seeking immediate trophies and high-pressure results, we may not be the right club for you.

We are proud to be an England Football Accredited Club, committed to best practices in all aspects of club operations.

Please take some time to read through our club policies and procedures on our website. These documents outline both our responsibilities as an FA-accredited club and what we expect from our members, including parents and supporters.

Volunteers and Coaches – The Heart of Our Club

Our Club relies on dedicated volunteers to function effectively — from administrators and committee members to team coaches. Without them, Maidenbower Colts simply couldn’t exist.

We always welcome new coaches. Whether your child is joining a brand-new team or an existing one, having enough coaches ensures all players receive the support and attention they deserve.

Becoming a coach might seem daunting, but it’s incredibly rewarding. Many of our current coaches started as parents just like you — and now couldn’t imagine stepping away.

We invite you to consider taking the FA Level One Coaching Course. These courses are held locally throughout the year, and we’ll reimburse the cost in two 50% instalments over two years. Plus, as a qualified coach, you’ll benefit from a £5/month discount on your child’s subscription.

Once qualified, you can also gain your FA Coaching License by completing just three one-hour CPD sessions annually.

A DBS (formerly CRB) check is required for all volunteers working directly with children.

As a coach, your main commitment will be to run one training session per week and support your team during weekend matches. We’ll handle finances, kit orders, and tournament bookings — allowing you to focus on the football.

If you’d like to explore coaching or volunteering, please contact us — we’d be happy to talk.

Join Our Club Committee

Our committee meets monthly to review club matters, and we share the minutes with members to maintain transparency. We are proud of our club’s structure but always welcome fresh help and new ideas.

Whether it’s on or off the pitch, we’d love you to get involved. Don’t be shy — step forward and be part of something special!

Warm regards,

Maidenbower Colts Committee
