This morning, our Club Chairman was delighted to award James Tidy a Chairman’s Recognition Award.
James joined Colts when 8 years old and played through to the end of the season with the U14s when he decided he would like to try coaching.
Taking advantage of the club’s Player Pathway Programme, James was mentored by Coach Darren and Coach Kais as an Assitant Coach helping out with the then U9 Red Team.
James completed his EE Playmaker qualification and turned up every week to help with training sessions and attending league games. James also Refereed games and helped out at a local tournament to gain more experience.
As soon as James turned 16, he got stuck into the FA’s Introduction to Coaching Football (Level 1) qualification, passing it last month.
James is an incredible and compassionate young man who has a talent for coaching the now U11 Red Team, continuing to work with Coaches Darren and Kais.
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication over the past two seasons, Coach James.
Congratulations on being the first player to pass through the Colts Player Pathway Programme.
