Huge congratulations to our U9 Red team who won the U9 Crawley & District Youth Football League Knock Out Cup Final today.
They got off to a slow start but finally picked up some pace towards to end of the first half, working together as a team to pass the ball up the pitch before getting it into the goal.
The team had a rocky start to the season whilst re-establishing themselves as a team and had a drop in confidence before their cup games started but they quickly turned it around, winning all of their cup games to secure a place in the semi-finals and securing a place in today’s final.
They regained their confidence, learned to believe in themselves, and believe in each other which has contributed to the teamwork we have seen over the last couple of months.
We are beyond proud of them and can’t wait to see what they achieve next season.
Well done to the opposition team, who were worthy finalists, for making it to the finals and giving us a good game as always. Best of luck to them for next season.
