“In our second cup match of the season, we faced a very good team in Burgess Hill.
The Girls started very well, showing great passing patterns and ability on the ball. However, we were unable to find ourselves a goal in the first half and were unfortunate to go into half time a goal down.
In the second half the opposition showed their quality and were able to force us back, making it difficult to transition into attack. Despite the difficult circumstances, the Girls were able to take back control of the ball and create some attacks but we couldn’t find a goal. As we tired, the opposition were able to find gaps to create chances and were able to score three goals in the 2nd half.
Despite the difficult game, the girls should be proud of how they never gave up and constantly worked hard against such good opposition.”
